The Good, The Mid, The Bad #2
the stupidest article I read this week, my favorite airport snack, and the best tofu dish in LA
Hello!
I always find this mid-July slump to be a challenging time. Everyone seems so scattered and I currently have a number of close friends on vacation abroad or about to leave for long international trips. Part of me selfishly hates it for two reasons: I would also like to be going abroad (lol) and more importantly, I find all the timezone differences and general busyness of travel really changes communication patterns.
It’s also when the slate of new TV shows is the most boring. I am currently working my through Ballard on Amazon Prime while waiting for new episodes of The Gilded Age to drop. I enjoy a detective show, but the pace of this one is a little slow for me. Would love to know what you are watching in the comments!
Anyways! Welcome back to my new weekly paid format, where I drop my very my honest thoughts, opinions, and analysis on everything from restaurants to products to trends to recipes that I usually reserve for group chats. I’ve spent the past couple of weeks in Michigan pondering why Chilis is cool again and digging into the phenomenon of people going to bars to watch Love Island like they do sport and eating way too many mangos. I also spent sometime in airports and on planes and so expect some very strong travel related food opinions (and perhaps my greatest packing tip!)

Okay let’s dive in.
