This is kind of genius (and reminiscent of the Veggie Sandwich you can order at 5 Guys, which is also basically a burger with all the toppings and no meat). I don't understand how McDonalds in other countries can offer multiple veg/vegan options but here we get nothing!

my friends once laughed at my *very late night* order being - a quarter pounder with cheese, all the fixings, no meat. the joke was “a quarter pound of what?” I think in my head I’d be getting a larger bun, more cheese, something!

this is hilarious because my mom would do this for us when we were kids on the road and were desperate for food!

I feel like all these toppings would be ... very squishy in my mouth.

the pickles and tomatoes definitely have more crunch than you might think!

I'm a little confused about why you would write about your order at McDonalds. Was/is the goal to encourage people to go? Or try out the same thing you ordered....in the midst of a genocide? MCD has donated millions of meals to IOF and they are on the BDS list. You then also post pro Palestine things on your IG story. Maths not mathing. I'm just genuinely curious...this feels kind of tone deaf. Please do better.

This reminds me of the In n Out secret menu grilled cheese with onions (my go to), and then I add another secret menu option - animal fries without the meat and the sauce, plus chopped chillies (which makes it cheese fries with chillies YUM). McD breakfast options are decent - egg & cheese biscuit without sausage + a hash brown and OJ ... but it's somehow more expensive than the same order with meat?! As you said... make it make sense.
